Brumfield shuts out Gloucester Post 75

GLOUCESTER – Two games, two shutouts for Williamsburg Post 39.
Michael Brumfield surrendered four hits and struck out eight in six innings as the Wildflowers rolled to a 9-0 victory over Gloucester Post 75 Wednesday night at Gloucester High School
Blake Wills allowed just one hit and struck out two in three innings of relief.
Williamsburg Post 39 did the job at the plate too, led by Liam Lowery. The former Jamestown High standout went 4-for-6, including a pair of doubles, and drove in four runs.
Solomon McCray went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI. Sean Hughes had two hits and drove in two runs. Mikey Anerton also had two hits with an RBI.
Post 39 scored four runs in the third inning and added two more in the fourth to break the game open. Tyler Klinedinst and Kent Klyman scored two runs apiece.
Jordon Harvey allowed four runs on five hits in three innings for Gloucester. Tyler Wood had three hits for Post 75.
