BIg inning lifts Wiliamsburg Revolution 12U team to a 6-1 win over Arlington

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Williamsburg Revolution scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning to secure a 6-1 victory over the Arlington Storm during the first round of the Babe Ruth Leagues of Virginia state tournament held at Carson Raymond Field.

Jonathan Salmeron keyed the fourth-inning rally with a two-run single. Lizam Kalaskas had two hits and drove in a run. Jacob Golub also had two hits for the Revolution.

Nicholas Spears was impressive on the hill. Spears scattered one run on three hits and struck out five to earn the complete-game victory.

Williamsburg will play Friday at noon.
