WARRENTON
– The Williamsburg Revolution 10U baseball team improved to 2-0 in the Babe
Ruth of Baseball Virginia state tournament Friday afternoon with a 12-10
victory over N.E. Augusta at Stuart Fields near Warrenton.
Jackson
Underwood had three hits and scored three runs to lead the Revolution. He also
pitched two strong innings of relief to earn his first save of the tournament.
Luke
Hanson had three hits, including a double, and scored two runs. Paul Williams
added two hits, including an RBI-double, and scored a run. He also earned the
victory on the hill.
Kevin
Cole tallied two hits and scored two runs for Williamsburg. He also pitched two
innings. Logan Koselke went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and two runs scored. Reid
Lampert had two hits and a run.
The
Revolution will play defending champion Glen Allen at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow in
the third round of the tournament.
