Kingswood Klams edge Kingsmill to improve to 2-0

JAMES CITY – The Kingswood Klams improved to 2-0 in Virginia Peninsula Swim Union competition Monday night with a 249-247 victory over the Kingsmill Sharks.

Both teams battled for points all night, as the meet wasn’t decided until the relays. Kingswood’s Sofia Long, McKinzie Turner, Lazuli Cristol and Pearl Kluger touched the wall first in the girls 200-medley relay in a time of 2 minutes, 18.22 seconds to clinch the meet.

Greensprings also improved to 2-0 with a 272-221 victory over First Colony.  Britney Denny, Shea Buirski, Leo Kantor and Kallyn Buirski earned triple-winner status for the Gators.
