WILLIAMSBURG – William and Mary’s football team will receive plenty of media attention this fall as more than half of the team’s games will be broadcast live.
Highlighting the slate of games will be three nationally televised contests. The Tribe will open the season at Virginia Tech and will be available locally on ESPNEWS on Aug. 31. The Oct. 11 game at New Hampshire and the season finale against Richmond on Nov. 22 will be seen on the NBC Sports Network.
Four other contests will be shown regionally. Home contests against Delaware (Oct. 25) and Elon (Nov. 8) as well as a road showdown with defending Colonial Athletic Association champion Towson will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet. The Tribe’s showdown at instate rival James Madison (Nov. 1) will be shown on American Sports Network.
Fans can catch the non-televised home games online in high definition at TribeAthletics.com. Audio broadcasts of all W&M games will be available on 92.3 FM (The Tide) and 107.9 (Bach FM).
